The Atlantean civilization appeared successful, but the Will was not being touched by the Spirit which lead to a polarization.

Atlanteans held denials and judgments about what appeared as reality, whereas the Lumerians were seen as overwhelmed by undirected emotion.

---

The sinking of Lemuria increased the polarization between Spirit and Will, reinforcing denial of the Will.

---

Atlanteans continued to see the Will as needing control and denied its powers, leading to a lack of direction and increased frustration.

---

The Will in Atlantis could no longer hold its growing charge, leading to physical manifestations of illness and violence, and ultimately Atlantis sank.

---
